Responsibilities

  • Strategic Community Management to define, grow, expand and optimize scalable community relations programs.
  • Go to where the players are - engage with the community across multiple platforms and sub-communities.
  • Create a feedback loop between the community and developers, and own weekly sentiment reporting that includes qualitative and quantitative sentiment evaluation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve community building and drive the implementation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Marketing/PR, Community Relations, Creator Relations, Social Media, and development teams to strategize, support, and actualize goals and programs.
  • With leadership, help define and drive first-rate practices for community engagement that grow engagement and retention.
  • Be the voice of our players and represent Another Axiom with third-party community partnerships.
  • Adapt to changing project requirements, technologies, and priorities.
  • Any other duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Company’s Values.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a Community Manager in the games industry with live game experience
  • Strong understanding of the community landscape, intrinsic and extrinsic player motivations, social platforms, and trends.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing community programs and driving results.
  • Demonstrated ability to deeply understand target audiences and unique player needs that align to product offerings.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with VR platforms and mechanics including hand-tracked locomotion and traversal
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with the game community and developers.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills across game teams and player communities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - Able to demonstrate ability to collaborate with a fully remote team
  • Creative writing skills a plus
  • Detail-oriented - Capable of self-managing multiple projects simultaneously

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Community Manager, Community Relations, to play a key role in shaping and nurturing positive relationships with the entire Gorilla Tag player base, from new players to existing audiences, to popular influencers and brand ambassadors. As the player advocate and liaison between the community and developers, the Senior Community Manager will direct community management by deeply understanding our unique player base. This includes creating community programs and features, using listening tools to gauge sentiment, and developing a roadmap to foster healthy communities through programs, features, and events. The successful candidate for Senior Community Manager will have a passion for community building and the knowledge of how to translate that passion into scalable action plans that promote high-trust and positive player experiences. Compensation: Salary Exempt - Estimated Total Compensation (includes salary and potential bonus) - $150,000 - $200,000.
