Build back end web services that are easy to test in development environments and easy to quickly deploy
Design, document, and execute on new services using code as a platform to deploy and test
Research and prototype new tools and technologies to keep the code base up to date and bring in new best practices
Maintain and monitor services and investigate service interruptions
Work in a cross functional team to find the best solution to support new game features
Ability to work independently and provide scoping estimates to help the team plan
Essential Qualifications
8+ years of experience in relevant roles
Experience working and running a live web service that scales to 100k+ users
Experience working in a platform as code environment such as Terraform / Pulumi
Experience building out tests and CI/CD pipelines
Experience in Azure, GCP, AWS, or similar environments
Understanding of modern game engine and development
Experience working in a live service game
A track record of learning new technologies
Can self manage and work well in a team environment
Passion for VR

This developer will have an active role in designing, planning, launching, and maintaining the infrastructure for our studio’s products.
