In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our content strategy. Crafting compelling narratives, producing top-tier video content, and collaborating across teams to make sure everything we create hits the mark. You’ll blend creativity with strategy, guiding projects from big-picture vision all the way to final polish.

Responsibilities
  • Produce Content: Work with Creative Marketing team to fully produce content for short and long for both social media and branded platforms.
  • Creative Pitching: Source, organize, and creatively pitch new ideas to enhance the storytelling of Orion Drift to consumers.
  • Production Coordination: Work alongside developers, producers, and artists to ensure all artistic assets and elements are delivered and align with the creative vision.
  • Comfortable performing as a marketing mascot, as the official marketing voice for Orion Drift in social media videos. 
  • Produce work product using a mic set. 
  • Manage content tasks such as chasing assets, coordinating with dev teams on game builds, Asana asset tracking, managing Notion hubs, and coordinating recordings with our Community Managers.
  • Support content work with our Social Media lead, ranging from game capture, scriptwriting, asset management, and organization.  
  • Ear to the ground on social media, tracking new videos and emerging creators within Orion Drift.
  • Write clear, effective, creative briefs grounded in data, insights, and a strong perspective
  • Drive milestones of the creative process effectively to ensure timely and accurate development and delivery of assets. 
  • Help develop highlight slides for team meetings to showcase the breadth of creative work. 
  • Support the team’s work to a variety of stakeholders, in large and small forums 
  • Form hypotheses, reviewing creative performance metrics, identifying trends, staying connected to the VR landscape, and helping shape best practices for better creativity.
  • Understand business objectives and the holistic impact of creative on Orion Drift, ensuring that content is presented with excellence.
  • Adapt to changing project requirements, technologies, and priorities.
  • Any other duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Company’s Values.

Additional Job Requirements
  • Video editing and production work experience 
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite, similar video editing tools
  • Familiarity in capturing content in VR
  • Occasional travel required for trade shows and community events
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate community team’s worldwide coverage

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in similar roles 
  • Portfolio of produced AV content related to entertainment or brand products, ideally in games.

Compensation

Salary Exempt (Estimated Total Compensation - $100,000 - $140,000 base salary with $10,000 - $21,000 in potential bonus) The salary range for this position is set with the intention to attract candidates with diverse experience levels and responsibilities within the role. We will carefully evaluate each applicant's qualifications and contributions during the interview process to determine their final salary, ensuring it aligns with their specific skills and the responsibilities they will undertake. Candidates whose experience meets most of the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
