Our goal

We craft worlds that are plausible alternate realities. These worlds in turn, provide real and valuable experiences.

Our philosophy

Our passion is building what we call diegetic VR. Creating a world that is full-fledged and thought out is the goal. If we treat it with that respect, it's powerful enough to make everyone believe it. Players should feel immersed, without constant reminders that it's “just a game."
We want it to feel as natural as going out to spending time with friends in an alternate universe. And that's our ultimate objective: to make Another Axiom the "third place" where friends go to hang-out - not just as a game, but as a social community. Social VR can provide that sense of belonging and community in a way that really can’t be done in any other medium.

Hi there, I'm Keith. While my previous work was not gaming industry related, I have had the privilege of supporting young people for over 20 years, in hostel settings to gain independence and essential life skills and later in an educational charity that assisted students who faced difficulties in mainstream education. As a tech enthusiast, I love immersing myself in the world of technology. I have a knack for fixing gadgets and making random things, and I share my latest projects on my youtube. Like many VR users, I tried Gorilla Tag and got hooked immediately on its passion, movement, and community. When the opportunity came to join ‘AA’ I jumped at the chance, grabbing it with both hands.

In 2016, Oculus Rift launched with Touch. A passionate VR enthusiast since DK2, Lemming, started playing all of the Oculus Touch games and began competing in the VR Challenger League. In the Summer of 2017, a new beta was released for a competitive VR team sport called Echo Arena and caught Lemming's attention. He soon become known for playing the game upside-down and would go on to be the captain of the first two world championships for the game. Two of the original people that worked on Echo Arena, the Davids, would meet Lemming and get to know him and his passion for authentic VR experiences and the zero-G movement mechanic that Echo Arena was built upon where players used their hands to propel themselves through space.

Heya, my name is Cody. You may have seen me around Discord, TikTok, or Youtube as I've been an active member of the Gorilla Tag community for quite a while now. Before getting wrapped up in the video game industry, I was working in television broadcasting doing all sorts of production and audio work. I adore gaming (especially VR), audio, and composing music! I’ve been composing music for about 10 years now. When I first played Gorilla Tag, I became so engaged in the game that I couldn’t help but start to make songs out of the game’s sound effects and document the process. This rabbit hole lead me to eventually make music and sound effects for Gorilla Tag itself!

I’m Kaleb and I go by the name ‘BiffBish’ anywhere in games. I’ve been coding for over 6 years now and have been into VR games for at least 3 years and designing games for 2 years. When I first got my headset I was immediately hooked and started work on a website to keep track of matches in one of my favorite games/gamemode “Echo Combat”. I'm so happy I've gotten this ability to work on VR games for a living and have fun doing it! I also have a few side hobbies like slowly becoming a stenographer and teaching myself how to draw art. I'm very new to the Gorilla Tag community only playing occasionally before getting picked up and I'm loving interacting with the community and adding tangible features for people to play with!

It was onto Westwood Studios making PC games from then on. I’ve worked on Command & Conquer RTS, LOTR, Star Wars, Tabula Rasa, and Pirate101 to name a few. I stepped into Casino Slot gaming on Monopoly for a bit and fled back here. Gorilla Tag is a signpost. A seriously amazing little game with huge potential. I fell in love immediately. I wink at Monke every day I see him in my VR headset. Music is the best! I’ve been a Zappa fan since I was a teeny Gromit. From there a ton of strange and dissonant stuff happened. Cardiacs is my favorite band these days. I also make packaging for musicians. Vinyl, CD, Tape, Box Sets. A joy. When I am not making art I enjoy my isolated wooded home life in the PNW.

So you flipped over my card, eh? I’ve been super fortunate to be part of other amazing VR game teams, most recently on Lone Echo II, Lone Echo, and Echo VR. Before VR, I worked on What Remains of Edith Finch, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider (2013), and tLotR:tBfMEII:tRotWK, which once held the record for longest game title. I produced online games at Sesame Street and co-wrote 3 novels for kids, including The Postman Always Brings Mice. I collect pulp scifi, prototype with Arduino, and the first computer game I ever played was Colossal Cave on a teletype terminal at my friend’s dad’s office. It didn't even have a screen, so you typed commands and read what happened as it printed out on 11x17 fan-fold paper. All those poor dead trees!

I couldn’t be happier and more excited to work on our games with this team. It’s a thrill to be able to work towards something that we’re all having fun making and seeing how the spirit of what we do finds its way to our players. I’m equally excited, and very proud, that we’re building the company and teams with a focus on sustainability and work-life balance. We’ve been able to provide a safe and stable environment that lets people focus on their job and get back to the reasons that they were inspired to go into game development in the first place.
